A Hall of Famer and State Champs Lead the Field at The Wooster Fall Open
WOOSTER, OH — OhioQuest heads to Wayne County on Sunday, November 8, for The Wooster Fall Open at Wooster High School. Registration closes tonight, and competitors from 37 clubs across 17 counties are already entered. This is a look at some of the competitors currently registered, with many more to follow.
As always, this will be a lightning-fast tournament. Most weight classes should finish in two hours or less, so families get in, wrestle and get home.
A Hall of Famer in the field
Jameson Bailey (Highland) is a member of the OhioQuest State Championship Hall of Fame. Last spring he won the 2026 state title in Div III Open at 80, and he's entered in Open 12U this weekend.
Another state champ in Open 8U
Conor Styles (Strongsville) won the 2026 state title in Div I Novice at 50. He has stayed busy this fall: he's 4-2 with 3 pins and runner-up finishes at both Stow and Streetsboro.
On the season leaderboards
Leo Incorvaia (Titan) has the 3rd-fastest pin of the OhioQuest/PennQuest season at 9 seconds, and he ranks 9th in tech falls. He's 7-2 with titles at both Stow and Streetsboro.
Theodore Kash (Burnett Trained Wrestling) is 7th on the season leaderboard with 3 tech falls. He is 4-1 and won a 6U title at Stow.
The Kash family
Theodore isn't the only Kash to watch. Judah Kash placed 4th at the 2026 State Championships (Div II Open, 52) and took 2nd at Stow this fall. Rosalie Kash was a 2026 state runner-up in Div IV Novice at 74.
More fall champions and state placers
Ryder Glass (Donahue Wrestling Academy) is unbeaten at 4-0 and won the 10U title at Stow.
Bradley Hovan (Donahue Wrestling Academy) won Rookie 12U at Rootstown.
Kaleb Brown (Beast Mode) is 4-1 with a 16-second pin this fall. He took 2nd at Rootstown behind Justin Edwards Jr., who is 2nd on the season wins leaderboard.
Tristan Miller (Titan) placed 3rd at state in Div IV Novice and took 2nd at Rootstown behind leaderboard regular James Libert.
Bennett Kellackey (NORO) placed 3rd at state in Div II Novice at 72.
Kade Lutz (Southeast) placed 4th at state last spring and has 9 wins this fall.
Local clubs show up
The host area is well represented, with Wooster and Perry/Wooster combining for 6 entries and nearby Northwestern bringing 6 more. NORO and North Royalton Youth Wrestling combine for the biggest group in the building with 10. Donahue Wrestling Academy has 6.
Family affairs
The Anthony family (Northwestern) and the Kash family (Burnett Trained) each bring three wrestlers. The Kellackey, Johnson, Rine, Roman, Gremling and Vaughan families all have multiple wrestlers entered as well.
Brackets to watch
OhioQuest builds weight classes after registration closes, so nothing is set yet. Still, a few groups could be loaded:
Open 10U (~54–56 lbs): This could be a rematch from Stow. Ryder Glass (4-0) won that group, Judah Kash took 2nd, and they registered one pound apart.
Open 8U (~55–58 lbs): State champ Conor Styles could see Legend Gray (Perry/Wooster) and Zaydon Pennington (Titan).
Open 12U (~82–84 lbs): Hall of Famer Jameson Bailey could see Elijah Bailey (Perry/Wooster) and Ryker Klusty (Manchester).
